Mr & Mrs Morris - Thornham

Our customers, Mr & Mrs Morris, live in a fabulous home they built in Thornham with views over the salt marshes towards the sea. Our brief was to create them a space that would allow them to to enjoy the rear gardens all rear round.

They wanted an orangery with lots of light and possibly a contemporary edge as they liked to embrace new ideas in hardwood but also wanted us to work with the flint work design of the house they had built as their retirement home. We designed an orangery with a roof lantern for maximum light, and with a set of bi folding doors so they could open them up fully and enjoy the garden. The sitting room has now be rejuvenated to full family room with cinema and wi fi etc so all the grandchildren could visit and enjoy. Also their dog Ben can have a new place to relax too.
